Presidents Day Protest 2025

People gathered at the Colorado State Capital building around noon on Monday, February 17, to protest the Trump Administration and Elon Musk's actions with DOGE.  This protest was part of the the national 50501 movement and the Denver-based Common Ground People’s Collective.

The group was composed of all ages and genders.  As it started to snow the group of about 3000 people were led on a march through downtown Denver.  The protest returned to the Capital around 2pm and gradually dissipated without violence.
